Typical laser-drilling applications are: - Holes for injection modules - Pilot holes for eroding processes - Filters and strainers for the food industry - Precision holes for flow controls - Lubricating and cooling holes in high-strength components.      Almost all metals, ceramics and precious stones may be drilled with lasers.     Even slanting holes with less than 30° to the surface may be realised.

laserdrilling

Laser drilling is characterised by its great flexibility and its ability to be easily integrated into automated processes. Hole depths of up to 15 mm and diameters of up to 0.3 mm may be achieved with laser drilling. Drilling diameters that may be realised with precision drilling range between 20 and 150 µm at depths of up to 12 mm. Typical laser-drilling applications are: - Holes for injection modules - Pilot holes for eroding processes - Filters and strainers for the food industry - Precision holes for flow controls - Lubricating and cooling holes in high-strength components.
